HMS Invincible R05 Falklands War 1982 - Scale:1/700 820 NAS Northern IrelandHMS Invincible was launched on 3 May 1977 as the 7th ship to carry the name. She was the lead ship of her class of three light carriers. Originally designated as an anti submarine warfare carrier, she gained fame during the Falklands War when, fitted with a ski ramp, she played host to Sea Harriers and Sea Kings. Invincible was also deployed in the Balkans and the Iraq War. She was decommissioned in 2005.
